Ira Khonen Temple is a songwriter, accordionist and cultural organizer. A founder of the radical-traditional Yiddish music group Tsibele, Ira was also a longtime music director for the Aftselakhis Spectacle Committee Purimshpil and member of New York’s activist street band The Rude Mechanical Orchestra. Ira performs on and off Broadway, playing recently in Cabaret and Fiddler afn Dakh. Their first solo album “Strange Tongue – Mistame-Loshn” was released by Borscht Beat Records this October. The album is a collection of traditional Yiddish songs, reimagined and expanded in English – marrying queer, trans songwriting with the urgent, living breath of Yiddish culture as it is vibrantly practiced today in Brooklyn.

Maia Kamil / Katie Martucci

Doors 8pm, Show 8:30pm
$20 adv / $25 dos

Katie Martucci is a Brooklyn based indie folk/pop songwriter whose presence and warmth leaves audiences spell-bound and renewed. Her latest release ‘Note to Self’ is a collection of songs about the “unspoken third thing in the room” — stories surrounding friendship, imposter syndrome, her own personal journey with epilepsy and more. Drawing inspiration from the writing and production of artists like Madison Cunningham and Emily King, Martucci’s songs are lush and cinematic. “No matter what Katie Martucci chooses to sing, it absolutely captivates us. Her voice is incredible, warm, and personal.” – Ear to the Ground Music

Maia Kamil is a singer-songwriter rooted in the lineage of 1970s storytellers—Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and other folk greats. Her songs unfold like narratives, each with distinct scenes, and her warm vocals and lyrical clarity create vivid worlds listeners can slip into. Previously based in North Carolina, Maia recently moved to Brooklyn, NY, and was a featured artist with the Brooklyn Choir Project.

Her debut record, Good Life, transports listeners to the trees of the Blue Ridge, the salt of the seas, and the table where ancestors gather, while maintaining the intimacy of singing around a campfire. She is currently collaborating with guitarist and producer Charlie Hunter on a new full-length record, set for release in 2026, expanding her folk foundations into new textures and sonical landscapes.

Her recent EP, You’re Not Here You’re Everywhere, explores grief and transformation after the loss of her grandmother. In both her writing and performance, Maia invites community, connection, and a shared sense of human truth.
