Studio Ghibli VGM & Anime Jazz x Eternal Wind Music

Owen Chen leads Eternal Wind, a New York-based guitar-led jazz ensemble that reimagines beloved Studio Ghibli, anime, and film soundtracks through modern jazz improvisation. The musical arrangements include Ghibli favorites such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, anime classics such as Your Name, Cowboy Bebop, and video games such as Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, and many more.

Drawing from bebop, post-bop, and contemporary jazz — fusing influences from classical, world music, pop, and R&B — Eternal Wind reshapes familiar themes into music that BroadwayWorld describes as “intimate, restless, nostalgic and alive,” with “tender, almost aching arrangements… nostalgia that made the room go quiet.” Paris-Move praises the ensemble’s “ability to build bridges between cultures while forging a sound entirely its own,” calling the music “immediately accessible while remaining remarkably complex” with “a cinematic quality, painting landscapes and characters through melody and offering listeners not just music but immersive worlds.” Their debut album The Ghibli Collection is out now on Origin Records.

Taboo Jazz x Red Pavilion Jazz Band

Dive deep into the sultry sounds of dirty blues and hot jazz by the Red Pavilion Jazz Band as we resurrect the forbidden anthems of the early 20th century, exploring themes deemed socially scandalous and morally obscene.

We will be rehabilitating contentious songs about race, and glorifying thinly veiled songs about sex, drugs and booze, with melodies so steamy, they would make a flapper flushed with fever.

Enter the Void: A Ritual of Shibari, Gong & Drone

Enter the Void is a ritual evening of shibari and psychedelic gong immersion – an invitation to descend, gently, out of the noise and into the body’s quieter frequencies.

Rope bondage artists Sydona Rogue and Vanilla Honey entwine their practices with the amplified electro-acoustic gong and sustained drone of percussionist and sound healer Samer Ghadry to guide audiences toward sensation, aural perception, and trance.

Named for Gaspar Noé’s film, Enter the Void borrows its spirit of dissolution. Overtones swell and dissolve, drones stretch and seemingly bend time, and the body becomes newly porous to sound. Rope binds, reveals, and transforms. The gong does not merely accompany the action, but saturates it, turning the room into a vessel for listening, sensation, and altered awareness.

Arrive early, stay present, and leave distraction at the door.

B*TCH EAT DOG

Doors 7pm, Show 7:30pm
$20

B*TCH EAT DOG is a puppet-filled sketch show that uses classical texts, feminist theory, and singing willys to interrogate the gendered ethics of pursuit. Punch and Judy puppets perform a gender swapped adaptation of Moby Dick that explores the fallacies of girlboss feminism. A tradwife named Felicity Groundwater hawks her questionable raw milk wares and ultimately breastfeeds a member of the audience with one of her many pendulous burlap boobs. A new kind of IUD insertion escalates until rats are being shoved down a cervix.  The evening is hosted by a hapless, well-intentioned white man who flails wildly as his misguided attempts at allyship lead to a painful realization.
